India's last-mile transport segment is massive, growing fast, and still dominated by unbranded, uncertified, low-quality vehicles. Chakra changes that — with a fully engineered, design-led, certified electric three-wheeler built for the real India and the world beyond it.
Chakra Mobility is a spin-off from NCube Designs — one of India's leading industrial design firms with 12+ years of automotive and product design experience. We don't just design vehicles. We take them from concept all the way to certified, production-ready reality.
Every Chakra vehicle starts with deep user research and ends with a production-ready, certified product — not a cheap kit assembly.
One flatbed platform. Multiple superstructures. Cargo, passenger, municipal — configured at point of order.
ICAT certification in progress. WMI registered. Design patents filed. We build vehicles that are legal, safe, and scalable.
The Loadmaster is Chakra's production-ready L3 electric cargo three-wheeler. Designed from the ground up for India's most demanding last-mile conditions — congested lanes, heavy loads, long shifts. It outperforms every comparable vehicle in its class on payload, range, build quality, and driver comfort. And it looks the part too.

India is one of the world's most colour-rich cultures. Our vehicles celebrate that. The Loadmaster is available in a wide range of colours and custom body graphics — because your vehicle is also your brand.

The Citypod is Chakra's passenger variant — designed for comfortable, safe urban transport with seating for two. Same modular platform as the Loadmaster, different superstructure. Ergonomic driver and passenger seating, weather canopy, and a design that actually stands out.
Target use cases: metro feeder routes, campus mobility, school transport, elderly care, and women-driver entrepreneurship programmes.

Every Chakra Mobility vehicle — Loadmaster, Citypod, and every custom body in between — is built on a single modular electric flatbed platform. The chassis, battery pack, motor, and running gear stay constant; only the body changes to match the job.
Battery, motor, controller, and suspension are common across every variant.
Cargo flatbeds, passenger cabs, tankers, and custom bodies mount to the same standardized interface.
WMI registration and ICAT certification are built around the platform itself.

The Loadmaster's flatbed is the foundation. What goes on top is your choice — ordered online, built to spec, delivered ready to deploy.

Three years of design, engineering, real-world validation, and production refinement — this is how we got here.
Starting from NCube's design research and concept development, we built the first working prototype of both the Loadmaster (cargo) and Citypod (passenger) variants. This phase validated the core platform concept — the shared modular flatbed chassis, powertrain layout, and ergonomic fundamentals. Both vehicles were photographed and tested in controlled conditions before moving to real-world validation.

Following successful prototype validation, we conducted a 10-day live pilot at a luxury residential complex in Gurugram. The Loadmaster prototype was deployed across two distinct use cases simultaneously — grocery and daily essentials delivery to residents from the local shop, and internal campus mobility. This real-world application validated the vehicle's performance, driver ergonomics, and operational reliability under actual load and daily-use conditions. The learnings from this pilot directly informed the transition to the production prototype.

With pilot learnings validated, we moved directly into production engineering. This phase involved finalising the complete BOM, setting up our vendor and supply chain network, developing the production chassis with full structural testing and FEA analysis, and refining every component for manufacturability and long-term reliability. The result is the Loadmaster production prototype — a fully engineered, production-ready vehicle that addresses every limitation identified in the pilot phase.

The Loadmaster production prototype has been submitted for ICAT homologation — India's official automotive certification body. WMI registration is complete. Design patents are filed. ICAT certification is in active progress and expected imminently. Once certified, Chakra becomes one of the very few L3 electric cargo three-wheelers in India that is fully designed, engineered, and certified end-to-end by its manufacturer.
India's electric three-wheeler segment is the fastest electrifying vehicle category in the country — already at 54% EV penetration. But the market is fragmented, unbranded, and dominated by low-quality, uncertified products.
Chakra enters with a fully engineered, ICAT-certified, modular platform — competing on design, range, payload, and quality. Not just price.
Registered data shows 5L+ units sold every year. The unregistered market is estimated at 10x that. This is a largely invisible, rapidly electrifying segment — with no dominant branded player. Yet.
